ZOETIS Vaccine – Pinnacle I.N. – 1 Dose

Pinnacle I.N. from Zoetis is an intranasal vaccine designed to protect your horse against Strangles caused by Streptococcus Equi. Strangles is a very contagious upper-respiratory infection, most common in young horses, but which can affect horses of all ages and fitness levels. Pinnacle I.N. is a modified-live bacterial vaccine indicated for healthy horses nine months of age or older. This vaccine comes with two vials; the vaccine and a sterile diluent used to rehydrate the vaccination aseptically. It also comes with a syringe and nasal applicator tip.

 

It is sold in single doses.

 

The label indicates that horses should receive a second dose 2 to 3 weeks after the vaccination and should be revaccinated yearly to prevent diseases caused by S. Equi.
